Welcome to Villa la Trinità
Late 19th century historical manorhouse near Rome, restored with respect for the original plan, offers you the cosiness of a private residence in the heart of a 100-hectar estate, with an age-old park of archeological, historical and landscape importance.
This luxury villa, located in the area where the Etruscan civilization developped, was built along the route of the ancient Roman road Cassia and that one of Via Francigena, which was covered by pilgrims going to Rome and the Holy Land since the Medieval Age. Its strategic position will enable you to easily explore Rome and The Vatican as well as the rich historical, cultural and naturalistic fabric expressed by Tuscia, former Southern Etruria, with its interesting medieval villages, the wonderful Renaissance villas, the luxuriant historical and private gardens and, last but not least, the most important Etruscan necropolis in Italy. You will also be able to participate in the numerous cultural events such as Tuscia Opera Festival, Festival Barocco, Tuscia in Jazz.
The “genius loci” of the area is also given by the birth of the famous paladine Orlando-Roland and by the presence, in Tenuta de La Trinità, of Orlando’s Oaks (of his childhood), whose deeds where afterwards celebrated in the medieval and 17th century legends (Chanson de Roland, Orlando Innamorato, Orlando Furioso ). Indeed Orlando’s story, in particular, inserts La Trinità among the Storygardenz, “…special places, with a special voice, for an international project of eco-cultural tourism, of search for quality time, for places and stories of primary importance to human culture...".
